THE FAMILY GUIDE TO HERVEY BAY’S PARKS
Hervey bay has parks for all ages and stages and there are so many to choose from! Where do you start? Right here as recommended by my three little munchkins!
I’ve listed the parks with purpose built children’s play equipment and focussed on the main tourist strip along Charlton Esplanade. These suburbs are Urangan, Torquay, Scarness and Pialba.
All the parks are free, have excellent toilet facilities, grassy picnic areas, BBQs, water bubblers, tree or sail shade and free parking! All easily accessible via the paved bikeway / walking track that stretches along the foreshore from the Gables in Point Vernon to Urangan Boat Harbour.
So what are you waiting for? Pack a picnic, get out there and soak up the sunshine and clean air, play with your kids and enjoy your Hervey Bay holiday!
