Dayman Park is one of THE best parks in Hervey Bay. With a look-out over to Fraser Island, beautifully landscaped gardens and directly opposite the beach, its easy to see why it’s a winner with the parents and grandparents as well. It’s a favourite for kids birthday parties and there is something for all ages and stages.

• Scooter and bike tracks surrounding it (racks provided near the lookout)

• Trees for climbing, hiding, shade
• A lookout complete with pirate ship and shaded seating
• Mabi Bee enclosure
• 2 shaded pergolas with BBQs (free) close to kids play fort
• Water tap
• Water fountain
• Shaded bench seating in the garden
• Cafe within 20m
• Beach within 20m
• 3 larger shaded pergolas on the hill near the lookout with BBQs (free)
• Large grassy area for football / cricket games etc

Just watch the kids near the carpark as it isn’t enclosed
